Who provides the service

Rentals are run by PlayaRENT di Marco Cosma (sole proprietorship), VAT no. 01292780259, on Lake Santa Croce — Via Poiatte 30, 32016 Alpago (BL), Italy. For contact details and how we handle personal data, see the Privacy policy.

Booking and confirmation

You can book on the website, in person at the rental point, or by phone and WhatsApp. Your booking is confirmed once you pay by card or, for on-site rentals, when the activity starts.

Please show up a few minutes before your booked time.

Prices and payments

The prices shown on the site are final, with no extra charges. PlayaRENT operates under the Italian flat-rate scheme (regime forfettario, Law 190/2014): VAT is not applied to the amounts.

You can pay by card through Stripe, the secure payment system built into the site, or on site. Card details are handled by Stripe: we never see or store them.

Cancellations, changes and refunds

You can cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before your booked time; if you paid by card, the amount is refunded to the same card.

For requests within the last 24 hours, or for no-shows, any refund is assessed case by case: get in touch and we'll always look for a fair solution.

Weather and safety

The activity takes place on the lake and depends on the weather. PlayaRENT may postpone or suspend a rental when wind, storms or other conditions make it unsafe: in that case we offer a new time or day, or a refund for the part not used.

The safety decision rests with PlayaRENT, who may call you back to shore at any time.

Duration and returns

The rental time starts when the equipment is handed over. Please return by the agreed time so you don't keep the next customer waiting.

An early return does not entitle you to a refund of the unused time. Beyond a 15-minute grace period, a late return may be charged for the next time slot.

Requirements and proper use

To rent on your own you must be of legal age; minors may use the equipment only when accompanied and under the responsibility of an adult.

You must be able to swim. The life jacket provided must be worn, especially by minors. Use under the influence of alcohol or drugs is not allowed.

Please respect other people on the lake and protected natural areas, such as the Oasi degli Sbarai.

Liability and damage

Equipment is handed over in good condition and must be returned the same way. The customer is responsible for damage or loss caused by misuse or negligence and must reimburse its replacement value.

As security for the equipment, PlayaRENT may ask for an ID document during the outing.

Awareness of risk

Kayaking, SUP and water activities involve risks linked to water and weather. By booking, the customer confirms they are fit for the activity and take part under their own responsibility, following PlayaRENT's instructions.
